Breast Cancer UK Youth Project

Are you aged 16-22?

Do you have experience with breast personally or through someone close to you?

We want to hear from you!

Whether you’ve been through it yourself, supported a family member, or have a story to share – your voice matters.

About Breast Cancer UK:

Breast Cancer UK is dedicated to the prevention of breast cancer by tackling the lifestyle and environmental causes of the disease. We are the only UK cancer charity that focuses on all aspects of breast cancer prevention, including diet, lifestyle, and exposure to harmful chemicals found in our environment.

About the Youth Project:

Breast Cancer UK’s mission is to prevent breast cancer through education, research and campaigning.  As part of our education work, we want to introduce accessible, targeted and co-produced resources for 16–18-year-olds to help them become aware of and adopt a preventative approach to breast cancer.

What you can do:

As part of our strategic development, we would love to hear from young people aged 16 – 22 who have experienced breast cancer themselves or through a loved one.

If you would like to take part, please complete this short application form .  We will invite up to ten young people to participate in 30–45-minute research interviews with our Lead Researcher Dr Bella Day in June or July 2025, at a time to suit you.

How you can participate:

Please apply here  to take part in our 30-45-minute research interviews. When you finish the interview, you will receive a £10 shopping voucher as a thank you!

Your voice can help us raise awareness and support young people better.

Thank you for helping to improve our services for young people. We will treat your answers safely and securely in line with our Privacy Policy.
