Breast Cancer UK is looking to appoint its first President to help raise the profile of the charity and to champion our key messages.
Breast cancer rates have risen considerably over the last decade. Now, 55,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
Our mission is to reduce the incidence of breast cancer. We believe more can be done to eliminate the environmental risk factors that may be making us more vulnerable to the disease.
The President will help to raise the profile of the charity, as well as its scientific standing, by increasing awareness amongst key stakeholders of the importance of adopting a preventative approach to breast cancer.
The President will help us to develop and build relationships with key institutions, organisations and individuals.
He or she will help to open doors and facilitate advocacy, foster our ability to make impact and achieve leverage with key policy makers and influencers.
