Have you always wanted to throw yourself out of a plane at 15,000 feet? Maybe join up with your friends to spend a weekend walking the 3 Peaks? Or even venture further afield and cycle from Paris to Geneva?

Pick a challenge you’ve always wanted to undertake. You can raise funds to achieve it, and help Breast Cancer UK at the same time.

Here’s how it works 

Choose a challenge from the variety of choices below. When you’ve decided which one’s for you then decide how you want to fund it via our funding options. Couldn’t be simpler.

Take the plunge for prevention and experience the biggest adrenaline rush of your life!

With our skydive partners you will be teamed up with one of their highly experienced tandem instructors who will help you on your way to the experience of a lifetime.

Option A – Minimum Sponsorship

If you raise £395 then there is no cost to jump.

This option means the challenge balance of your event cost is met through raising a minimum sponsorship for BCUK

  1. You pay the non-refundable registration fee directly to us and commit to raising the minimum sponsorship shown on the challenge page.
  2. Start fundraising and send your sponsorship money to your chosen charity as you raise it.
  3. 80% of your minimum sponsorship must be received by your charity no later than 10 weeks before departure.
  4. The remaining 20% of your minimum sponsorship should be sent to your charity no later than 4 weeks following your return after the challenge.

Option B – Self Funding

The cost is between £180 -£250 depending on your chosen airfield.

This option enables you to fund the entire challenge yourself and raise as much funds as you can for BCUK

  1. You pay the non-refundable registration fee to BCUK to join the challenge.
  2. 10 weeks before departure, you will receive an invoice to pay the challenge balance.
  3. The challenge balance invoice is to be paid no later than 8 weeks before departure.
Great Wall of China Dates and how to book Costs and sponsorship options

Trek the Great Wall

Go on a majestic 9 day trekking adventure and conquer the twists, turns, steps and slopes of this formidable fortification.  As you trek along this iconic wonder of the world, you’ll cross ancient watchtowers and battlement stations to witness magnificent panoramas of luscious, rolling green hills as far as the eye can see!

You’ll climb the incredible Heavenly Ladder and help rebuild part of the Wall – a privilege exclusive to Global Adventure Challenges.  You’ll also have the opportunity to explore Beijing, where you can visit iconic landmarks such as the Forbidden City, Temple of
Heaven and the famous Tiananmen Square.

Option A – Minimum Sponsorship

Reg fee – £299, minimum sponsorship- £2,750 + airport tax £250

This option means the challenge balance of your event cost is met through raising a minimum sponsorship for BCUK

  1. You pay the non-refundable registration fee directly to us and commit to raising the minimum sponsorship shown on the challenge page.
  2. Start fundraising and send your sponsorship money to your chosen charity as you raise it.
  3. 80% of your minimum sponsorship must be received by your charity no later than 10 weeks before departure.
  4. The remaining 20% of your minimum sponsorship should be sent to your charity no later than 4 weeks following your return after the challenge.

Option B – Self Funding

Reg fee – £299, self funding £1,375 + airport tax £250

This option enables you to fund the entire challenge yourself and raise as much funds as you can for BCUK

  1. You pay the non-refundable registration fee to BCUK to join the challenge.
  2. 10 weeks before departure, you will receive an invoice to pay the challenge balance.
  3. The challenge balance invoice is to be paid no later than 8 weeks before departure.
The Lapland Husky Trail Dates and how to book Costs and sponsorship options

Husky sleigh ride

Spend five days sledding through the rolling highlands and deep forests of Lapland.  You’ll cover approximately 270km on the journey from Norway to Sweden passing through wild and untouched nature on your way to the original and world famous Ice Hotel in Jukkasjärvi.

Full training is given so the only requirement to take part in this challenge is a thirst for extreme adventure. You will experience the daily life of the Sami people as you tend to your dogs and watch the Northern Lights (weather permitting).

This option enables you to fund the entire challenge yourself and raise as much funds as you can for BCUK

  3. The challenge balance invoice is to be paid no later than 8 weeks before departure.
Trek Hadrian's Wall Dates and how to book Costs and sponsorship options

March alongside Hadrian's Wall

Follow in the footsteps of the Roman legions on this fantastic weekend trekking challenge as you trek from Lanercost Priory to Brocolitia. Trekking 25 miles along the most remarkable Roman monument in the country, Hadrian’s Wall, your route encompasses breathtaking views and fascinating ruins with the picturesque Northumberland countryside providing stunning backdrops from start to finish.

Euro City Cycling Dates and how to book Costs and sponsorship options

Cycling in Belgium and Holland

This superb challenge caters for every level of cyclist. Your route covers approximately 280 miles with 4 days in the saddle and takes in the rolling countryside of Essex, the plains of Holland and the sleepy lanes of Belgium.

London to Paris Bike Ride Dates and how to book Costs and sponsorship options

Cycle to the Eiffel Tower

Our London to Paris Bike Ride is an awesome cycling challenge and by far one of the best fundraising events in Europe, attracting hundreds of riders each year and raising thousands of pounds for charities nationwide. You’ll spend 4 days in the saddle, cycling from capital to capital.

Your journey begins in London, with your route meandering through glorious English countryside as you cycle from Kent to Dover, before crossing the Channel. Then you continue through the rolling green fields of Northern France, where you pass the war memorials and cemeteries of the Somme. A spectacular finish awaits as you reach the pièce de résistance, the Eiffel Tower, which marks the finish line.

Cycling in India Dates and how to book Costs and sponsorship options

Cycling in Kerala

Discover Kerala, southern India’s most serene and beautiful state. You start the challenge in Thattekad, before journeying through dense forests, tea plantations and ascend up to Munnar – surrounded by stunning mountain scenery.  Witness the world famous arch dam of Idukki, before beginning your descent. Crossing Vembanad Lake by houseboat, you continue to your destination of Marari, where you enjoy a celebratory meal.  You then have a free day to relax and enjoy miles of golden sand at Marari Beach or visit the historic city Fort Cochin.

This fantastic cycle challenge involves tough climbs throughout – but you will be rewarded with the most spectacular scenery.
