Breast cancer hasn't gone away....

.…but our research programme for it will be, if we don’t act now.

The Corona Virus lockdown has resulted in a dramatic drop in fundraising, income that would have gone towards vital breast cancer research and prevention.

As we begin to move out of lockdown and get used to this new normal our vital work is still vulnerable if we don’t manage to raise funds.

At Breast Cancer UK, we rely solely on people fundraising for us. We get no statutory or government funding.

We urgently need your support to continue our work to prevent breast cancer.

We need this to prevent more people like Sam having to go through the devastating effect of this terrible disease.

35 year old Samantha Vale was at the top of her game working as a choreographer and movement director when she discovered a lump in her breast that led to eighteen months of devastation and uncertainty.

Undergoing two mastectomies, and gruelling sessions of chemo and radiotherapy whilst looking after two young kids,  and starting a new relationship, was emotionally and physically exhausting.

Alongside this, losing her breasts, and her hair, really took its toll and changed her life forever.

She’s bouncing back now. But life for her, and millions of others, things could be more optimistic if there was more research to prevent breast cancer.

Please, help us to help people like her.
