From February 2020 we are bringing our breast cancer prevention message into workplaces around the Greater London Area. Our Educational Ambassadors in the greater London area will be offering lunchtime talks, covering practical tips for reducing people’s risk of breast cancer.
The Government’s Prevention is Better Than Cure paper encourages employers to promote healthy lifestyles and our Prevention Talk is ideal for a lunchtime slot, or a lunch and learn session. Many businesses are already taking action on the issue of health & wellbeing in the workplace and, as a result, are benefiting from higher staff morale and lower rates of sickness. Ultimately, a healthy workforce can often mean a more productive one.
The talk provides advice on how people can make simple lifestyle changes to reduce their risk of breast cancer. The workplace is an important setting to encourage this as there are many lifestyle tips that can be incorporated into the working day, very often enhancing your organisation’s health and wellbeing message as a whole.
