Charlie Winstanley

Charlie is an health policy and delivery expert who has worked with a variety of health organisations both in the UK and abroad. Previous projects include the creation of a population health strategy for a major city and a national programme to improve clinical commissioning. He currently works as the Deputy Head of the Department of Health and Social Care’s Delivery Unit focus on tackling the recovery of elective care. In addition to his government work, Charlie is a governor of a SEND primary school and a qualified Personal Trainer. Charlie gives an annual lecture at the University of Manchester, focusing on health strategy and the business of healthcare, having graduated from the same university top of his class in International Management (BSc).

Gift Aid is reclaimed by the Breast Cancer UK from the tax that I pay for the current tax year. If I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations, it is my responsibility to pay any difference. Breast Cancer UK will reclaim 25p in tax back for every £1 I donate.
