Alice joined Breast Cancer UK in September 2023 as a Scientific Research Officer. She has a background in chemistry and has worked on many healthcare-related research projects. Before joining Breast Cancer UK, Alice worked as a medicinal chemist at the Oxford Drug Discovery Institute (University of Oxford), contributing to developing novel treatments for dementia. Alice has obtained a PhD from the University of Birmingham for her work towards developing innovative cancer diagnostics tools. As a Scientific Research Officer, she is committed to raising awareness of chemicals and lifestyle factors that can contribute to breast cancer risk.
