Dr Hannah Mitchison is an Associate Professor of Molecular and Medical Genetics at University College London. Her research interests focus on understanding the cell biological and genetic causes of children’s inherited diseases, through gene discovery family studies and functional analysis in cell models and model organism systems. She is Head of the Cilia Disorders Section in the Genetics and Genomic Medicine Programme, based at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health and is a founder of the Ciliopathy Alliance.
