Preparation time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
200g carrots – washed and diced
2 eggs
180ml (3/4 cup) single cream
20g (1 and ½ tbsp) butter – melted
50g (1/2 cup) parmesan
1 pinch of nutmeg
Salt and Pepper
A bit of olive oil to grease ramekins
Parsley leaves – for decoration
Equipment: blender and 4 ramekins
Carrots and onions are non-starchy; this group of vegetables may help decrease the risk of developing breast cancer.
Carrots are also rich in carotenoids, which act as antioxidants for humans and may reduce the risk of breast cancer, especially when you eat lots of them!
