Finance Manager (Maternity Cover)

Are you an experienced charity Finance Manager looking for a fixed term role, in a friendly, dynamic and growing breast cancer charity? 

Salary: Band D £38,416, 568 - £46,020 FTE, Pro Rata (pay award pending April 2026)
Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract: 12 months fixed term contract (maternity cover)
Location: Home based, with occasional travel to London area for team meetings
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

Are you an experienced charity Finance Manager looking for a fixed term role, in a friendly, dynamic and growing breast cancer charity? Are you passionate about reducing the risk of breast cancer through education, research and policy change and want to help us to become the leading voice in breast cancer prevention?

We’re looking for someone with significant experience in managing the finance function in a small-to-medium sized charity, professionally qualified with a recognised accountancy body, with an in depth knowledge of day to day accounting processes and procedures. You will have a good knowledge of Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP), and extensive experience of using accountancy software, (Xero would be preferable).

Ideally, you will be able to start in Early to mid-May, to ensure a comprehensive handover with the current Finance Manager.
