Making a difference together

Working with partners who share our values and ambitions plays an important role in helping raise funds and awareness for our vital work in breast cancer prevention.

We work with organisations that help reinforce our messages around healthy lifestyles such as promoting physical activity, eating well, and minimising environmental risk factors by reducing exposure to environmental chemicals that may be linked to breast cancer such as endocrine disruptors (EDCs).

These partnerships are vital in supporting us to grow an informed breast cancer prevention community.

In return we provide our partners with strong scientific leverage for their products, working with them individually to increase awareness of their brands, growing customer support for their campaigns and working towards shared impact.

Around 55,500 women and 375 men a year are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. Sadly thousands have missed their diagnosis due to lengthy delays in screening and early detection services.

But an estimated 30% of those cases could be prevented through lifestyle changes.

Prevention has never been more important and partnering with us can make all the difference in empowering people to act now to reduce their risk of developing breast cancer.

We collaborate with organisations whose ethical values are aligned with those of Breast Cancer UK.

We hope to collaborate with organisations that:

  • Have taken all reasonable steps to minimise or reduce the production of, or use of, products that have been scientifically proven, or are suspected by the scientific community, of being linked to breast cancer. For example, the use of Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals
  • Do not promote tobacco products
  • Do not promote alcohol products
  • Do not use animal testing in the production of the product
  • Have taken reasonable steps to minimise or reduce the use of single-use plastics in their packaging
  • Wish to grow their brand alongside ours

We partner in many ways, including:

  • Percentage donations from sales, royalties, or licensing
  • Specialist product creation and shared branding
  • Match funding for your staff’s fundraising initiatives
  • Building breast cancer fundraising initiatives into your events
  • Sharing breast cancer prevention messages with your staff and customers
  • Sponsoring or providing discounts or prizes for our events
