Packed with fruit and vegetables, this refreshing green smoothie is a simple way to boost your 5-a-day. The blend of crunchy apple, ripe banana, earthy carrots, and fresh spinach creates a smooth, naturally sweet drink that’s full of fibre and antioxidants.

How to make it:    

  1. Prep the ingredients: wash and roughly chop the ingredients. 
  2. Put the ingredients in a blender: add the fruits and vegetables in a blender, squeeze the lime juice on top, and then add the milk of choice. 
  3. Blend it all together: blend until smooth. Check the consistency of the smoothie. If your smoothie is too thick for you, add more milk. 
  4. Serve the smoothie: divide the smoothie into 2 glasses and enjoy immediately.
