Leaving a gift in your will.
The action we take today could help save thousands of lives in the future.
Cancer touches so many of our lives. We’re told that around one in two of us will develop cancer during our lifetime. That isn’t something we should simply accept.
The action we take today could help save thousands of lives in the future. That’s why gifts in Wills are so important.
As a charity, 100% of the funds we raise come from donations, grants, fundraised income and gifts in Will. In fact, gifts in Wills account for more than £1 out of every £3 we raise. The decision to leave these exceptional gifts, often made many years prior, allows us to invest in long-term prevention research, education and campaigning.
women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during their lifetime.
breast cancer cases could be prevented.
people die every year of breast cancer.
The kind gifts we receive in Wills are a crucial part of our funding and without them we could not continue. A thoughtful act today will take us closer to a world where everyone can avoid preventable breast cancer.

The future my daughter deserves
Dr Mark Wade, Researcher for Breast Cancer UK“I have three young children, including an 11-year-old daughter. One day she’ll be the age when many women are diagnosed with breast cancer. The research I’m doing today probably won’t change what happens over the next five years. I’m thinking much further ahead than that. If the work we’re doing now helps us understand what increases breast cancer risk – and how we can reduce it – perhaps her generation will have a better future.”
