CEO

Thalie has been our CEO since 2019. She has 20 + years of experience working in senior roles in the public and third sectors in the UK and Australia. Before Breast Cancer UK, Thalie was CEO of Magpie Dance, the UK’s leading dance charity for people with learning disabilities.

Thalie has run several high-profile programmes: a national programme to transform care practice in schools for children with medical conditions, a major transformation project at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences in Sydney, and numerous statewide public health prevention programmes for the New South Wales State Government, including a ground-breaking magistrates drug diversion initiative.

Thalie is passionate about prevention and social empowerment. Having lost her mother to breast cancer in 2007, Thalie is committed to making breast cancer prevention a policy and public health priority.
